The Hwy 127 Corridor Sale, also know as the 127 Yard Sale or the August Sale is a annual event spanning over 700 miles and 5 states with vendors from all over the United States as well as local folks! Jamestown, Tennessee is the originator and headquarters of the sale. Thousands attend from all over the country. Many plan their route along Hwy 127 and others pick one place and ride in different directions each day to cover the sale. Which ever way you plan to attend, make your reservations early. We are a Mom & Pop owned business rustic, but clean and well maintained. We are not able to pick up much TV, so we have DVD/VHS players in rooms. Movies are for rent at "The Hitching Post General Store" where you will Check in and can get meals and camping needs. Big South Fork Lodge The Hitching Post General Store 3516 Leatherwood Ford Road (RT 297) Jamestown,Tennessee, 38556 Big South Fork Lodge and The Hitching Post General Store are located 15 miles west of Hwy 127 (Jamestown) and 18 Miles East of Rt 27 (Onieda Side). There is a public swimming pool in the park (5 miles) and a lake at Picket State Park (8 miles) and We ave 2 stocked ponds for your fishing enjoyment! Check in during the sale is 3:00 PM (Central Time) If you are arriving later than 4 PM you must call to confirm your reservation. If we do not hear from you by 6PM Central Time We may assume you are not coming and rent out your room. |
